More than just a camera with a few water tight seals, the 1030 is built to withstand tortues that would make James Bond grass up Q and denounce the Queen. It’s crush-proof, freeze-proof, and, of course waterproof, to 10m. it takes lovely photos both in and out of the wet stuff- as long as it stays below ISP 800 – and even looks nice.
